[ 01 / 06 ] • Problem
Leaders choose AI initiatives without knowing where they’ll create the most value.
Processes are not mapped and AI initiatives do not scale across the organization.
FTEs and process costs are difficult to see across departments and teams.
It is difficult to know how deep a process goes and who is involved before changing it.
[ 02 / 06 ] • How It Works
Plek starts with a single org chart, no interview, no screen recording.
Plek maps every role to its tasks using its proprietary ontology of work.
The diagnostic shows FTEs, cost, and AI exposure for every task across the company. In a day.
Plek flags the priority processes and lets you run short AI-guided interviews with the people who own each process.
Interviews map the exact workflows and end with a decision on the AI opportunity.
You interview only the process owners, not the entire company.
Plek turns the map into a ranked list of tasks.
Each task is quantified by FTEs, task cost, and AI exposure, so you see where to act first.
Plek builds the AI workflows and deploys them with your team.
[ 03 / 06 ] • Why Plek
Map departments, functions, and locations in one view. Plek creates a quantified operating model of the whole company, showing where work happens and what it costs.
Map every company on the same basis, making it easy to compare operating models, costs, and opportunities across a portfolio. What you learn in one company carries forward, so you can rank where to act next without starting from scratch.
[ 04 / 06 ] • Features
Every task priced and staffed, across the whole company.
5–10-minute AI interviews scoped to one task, or one job, and run by your own team.
Sorted by what the work costs and by how much of it a machine can carry.

We need four things: the job titles, the number of employees in each title, an organization chart, and the job descriptions if you have them. Do not send employee names. Do not send one row per employee. Plek builds the first map in a few minutes. We review it and send it to you within one day. You do not connect an HR system. You do not install software. We do not record screens. We do not run a survey.
The first map starts from research our founder did at MIT. That research measures, for each occupation in the US economy, how much time each task takes. We combine it with public data on how much of each task AI does today. Your titles and job descriptions adjust these numbers to your company.
This gives you a direction. It does not judge a person. If a task matters, AI interviews with a few employees replace the estimate with their real work.
At one manufacturer we used public data only. Their transformation team had a list of 10 priority areas. We found 7 of them on our own, and 3 more that they agreed mattered.
No. Plek is a workforce intelligence tool to map work and analyze it.
Plek examines tasks and job titles. It does not examine employees. That is why we do not ask for names or for one row per employee.
You decide what to do with the map.
Plek runs on Amazon Web Services. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Production databases are not reachable from the public internet. Each customer’s data is separated in the database with row-level security.
The file you send contains job titles, headcounts per title, and the org structure. It contains no names and no personal data. Your HR system stays your HR system.
Process mining looks inside one process in great detail. It works only on a process you have already chosen. It cannot tell you which process to choose. It cannot measure work that never touches a system. Plek is the map you read before you choose the process.
A consulting diagnostic takes months. It needs dozens of interviews. It ends in a deck that is out of date on the day it arrives. Plek produces the first map in a day and keeps it current. We do not replace consultants. Plek is built for them to use.
